Stentor SR1594A Handmade ProSeries ''Elysia'' English Model 4/4 Violoncello

The Stentor Elysia is one of Stentor's range of high-grade orchestral models. These are superb handcrafted instruments, carved from selected and figured tonewoods. The Stentor Elysia cello is made in a specialist hand workshop within the Stentor factory, where the most skilled individual workers produce under the close supervision of a master maker, in a traditional luthier's environment that would be familiar to makers throughout the centuries. The result is a fine instrument with a superior finish and sound. The Stentor Elysia 'English model' cello has a back length of 29" (737mm) and a rib depth 10mm smaller than a standard full size cello, giving it an easier feel in playing, whilst still producing the volume and depth of sound of a full size instrument. The cello is finished with a hand-applied traditional shellac varnish and fitted with professional quality branded strings. All instruments are individually workshop fitted. Finish: Natural.
