Gibson Coated Phosphor Bronze

Acoustic guitar strings. Strings are made with a phosphor bronze wrap around a high-carbon hex-shaped steel core. This construction produces a string that has high-frequency clarity and a mellow bottom end. To set these strings apart, Gibson added a proprietary polymer coating that increases string life and preserves their tone.
