Two-way active precision nearfield monitor from BM mkIIl series with great SPL (118 dB), broad frequency response (42 Hz-24 kHz), ultra-high dynamic range and hand-crafted drivers that delivers performance superior to many larger, more expensive monitors. It features the Class-D 50W LF and 50W HF RMS amplifier with DSP crossover (1900 Hz), and extended excursion 7” woofer and 1.1” rear-chamber soft dome tweeter with double neodymium magnet system with vented pole piece for accurate driver control and large diameter aluminium voice coil that surrounds the magnet for superior linearity. Voice coil former and wire are low mass so transient response is quick and accurate. Diaphragm and dust cap are moulded as one piece in patented low-mass, highly rigid Magnesium Silicate Polymer providing unrivalled accuracy. Monitor also provides HF, MF, LF room filters that allows for flexible positioning, high pass filters at 60/80 Hz for perfect subwoofer adaption, a flexible operation with XLR and RCA inputs, and an input sensitivity switch (-10/+4 dB range).
