From the powerful 96 kHz DSP engine and standard analog and digital I/O, to the tamper-proof front panel, the 4820 provides all the processing, flexibility and control necessary for permanent installations. Each input features a 31-band graphic EQ, followed by a 9-band parametric equalizer. Two slots are provided for "dropping-in" a range of processors, which are followed by variable time delay circuits. Each input can have the processors linked with adjacent channels, which in turn can access any of the outputs. The output blocks start with variable crossover selections and are followed by a parametric EQ, two insert slots and variable time delays. An Advanced Feedback Suppression Wizard helps tame feedback with little sonic degradation of the source signal. Since the unit has no front-panel control, the DriveRack 4820 comes with System Architect Control software to provide programming duties.
